This folder contains 8 aerial photographs of downtown Boulder. 2 show the downtown business area between Canyon Blvd. and Pine Street, 10th and 17th Streets. Visible are the train depot and Central School. A more distant panorama was taken from Flagstaff Mountain. 1 photograph shows the University of Colorado campus from the southeast, 1 is of Boulder High School, and 1 shows the area between Folsom (24th Street) and 30th Street, with the Harvest House visible.

Fred Hellems, who compiled the two-page list of admission and graduation requirements of U.S. universities, was a Canadian who came to the University of Colorado as a Latin professor in 1898. He served as Dean of Arts and Sciences from 1899 until his death in 1929, and also was acting President in 1927-1928.
